Braemar Alumni wins Robert J. Tiffin Leadership Award at York University

We always knew he had big things ahead of him, so we are delighted but not in the least surprised. Issa Abdi Jamaa, a Braemar College graduate originally from Kenya, has won the Robert J. Tiffin Leadership Award from York University, where he is studying economics. The award ‘recognizes students’ contributions to the growth, development and vitality of the York University community through their leadership, enthusiasm and dedication.’ We are proud of him and wish him all continued success!

Congratulations to the winners of our exclusive university entrance Scholarships

Each year, four Braemar College graduates are set apart from their peers. These are the winners of our exclusive university scholarships with our four university partners, The University of Toronto, York University, Ryerson University, and the University of Waterloo. Winning this award means you are at the top of all the many Braemar students who have accepted an offer from those four universities. The winner is selected after consultations between the universities and our guidance team. Each award is worth $2,500. Our sincerest congratulations to Samuel (winner of the Robert McDonald Award for Excellence at Ryerson University), Juan Jose (winner of the Sheila McDonald Award for Excellence at University of Waterloo), Aimin (winner of the Braemar College- University of Toronto Award for Excellence) and Great Love (winner of the Braemar College York University Award for Academic Excellence).
